RingAs a community school, we offer extensive opportunities – mostly free of charge – through partnerships with various other organisations.

BrassBrass Program

Students can join the Brass program and the School Band. Instruments and tuition are provided by the Salvation Army.





StringsStrings Program

Students may join the Strings program to learn the violin and cello.
Instruments and tuition are provided through the East Geelong Uniting Church and donations from Geelong College.





RunningSport/PE/ Running Track

We are fortunate to have a fantastic artificial turf Running/Athletics track that is used by the students every day for Sport/PE and also in general free play.





ComputersState-of-the-Art Touchscreen Computers and iPads

All computers, laptops and iPads in the school are touchscreen, offering an effective way for students to research, present work and extend their learning. Geelong East Rotary have provide vital support to this program.






We have a dedicated Science room and a great program that involves classes at the school and visits to the Geelong BioLab.





PlaygroundAmazing Playgrounds

We are fortunate to have four fully functioning playgrounds, each designed for differing age ranges. We are grateful to East Geelong Rotary for set-up assistance and support.





LegoLego Club

The Lego Club operates out of the open library at lunchtime.






Gardening1Gardening Club

Local Whittington residents contribute in a huge way to our lunchtime gardening club. Thanks to Wayne and Faye, we have a constant supply of fresh vegetables that the children love to eat.






Our senior students really enjoy the opportunity to work with and build friendships with the youngest children in the school.

Every school day, Kelly Club offers an interesting activity based program before and after school that covers everything from cooking, craft, art, games, sports and dance.

With support from various organisations, we focus on creating several whole-school activities each year. A highlight is our annual trip to the Barwon River Fun Park supported by Leopold Lions.




Book WeekBook Week Dress-Up Day

Every year we celebrate several dress-up events such as Book Week, Easter Parade, Footy Fever etc. Staff and students all dress up.





Parent and Child Programs

Parents and families participate in the life and programs of our school. For example: our community art sessions invite parents in every week to work with their children in art classes. Parent-Child programs ae supported by Barwon Child Youth and Family.


Subsidised Water Safety / Swimming Program

For minimal charge, all students are able to access a swimming/water safety program each year. This is supported by Leopold Lions.
